Meet The Team
Tim Baker is a nationally recognised leader in fundraising and social impact, with over 15 years of experience in the charity sector. An internationally acclaimed sales and marketing expert, Tim has helped organisations expand their reach and revenue through innovative, results-driven strategies. His journey from addiction to leadership fuels his passion for creating real change, making him a powerful advocate for those seeking a second chance. At Kiwis For Good, Tim’s expertise and lived experience drive our mission forward, ensuring we maximise our impact and support those who need it most.
Tracy Livingston brings a diverse background in community advocacy, holistic health, and organisational leadership to the Kiwis For Good Foundation. With professional qualifications spanning hospitality through to osteopathy, she has long been committed to supporting the wellbeing of individuals and communities across Aotearoa.
As Treasurer, Tracy plays a key role in overseeing the Foundation’s financial stewardship and governance. Her strong organisational skills and passion for community wellbeing help ensure Kiwis For Good continues to deliver impactful programmes that support mental health, resilience, and opportunity for young people.
Tukiri Awa is a dedicated leader, husband, father, and advocate for Māori wellbeing and trauma recovery. A former Head Boy at his school, Tukiri overcame significant personal struggles that profoundly shaped his path of service to his community. Drawing from his own experiences, he has committed himself to supporting rangatahi and whānau navigating trauma, mental health challenges, and personal growth.
As co-founder (alongside Kawariki Thompson) of Awakiri Hau Tapu (The Breath of Hawaiki), Tukiri has helped create a powerful initiative and documentary that provides a safe space for individuals to process and heal from trauma. The project emphasises cultural connection, resilience, and moving forward with strength and purpose.
Tukiri serves as a Trustee of the Kiwis For Good Foundation, where he contributes to programmes focused on mental health awareness, youth empowerment, and building stronger, more resilient communities across New Zealand. His work aligns closely with the foundation’s mission of turning awareness into meaningful action through practical support and opportunities.
Scott Townsend is one of New Zealand’s most respected breathwork coaches and a driving force behind The Hero’s Journey programme. With over 20 years of experience and certifications in the Wim Hof Method, Buteyko, Oxygen Advantage, and HeartMath, Scott helps young men build resilience, focus, and confidence through practical, science-based tools. His background in psychology and relatable teaching style make him an invaluable mentor for participants on their path to strength and purpose. www.o2coach.nz
Karen Hart brings extensive experience in governance, organisation, and community leadership to her role as Secretary of the Kiwis For Good Foundation. Known for her attention to detail and commitment to transparency, she plays a vital role in ensuring the Foundation operates with strong accountability and integrity.
Karen supports the board by maintaining effective governance processes and helping coordinate the work that enables Kiwis For Good to deliver meaningful mental health initiatives across New Zealand.
With over 20 years of experience in the film and media industry, Simon Reynolds is a highly skilled producer, director, editor, videographer, and motion graphics creator. His diverse portfolio spans documentaries, promotional videos, television, and content for major corporations, media networks, government agencies, and nonprofits. Passionate about storytelling with impact, Simon brings a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of visual communication to Kiwis For Good, helping to craft compelling narratives that drive positive change.
Dr Robin Youngson is an internationally respected trauma specialist and former anaesthetist, widely recognised for his pioneering work in compassionate healthcare. Over the past decade he has become a leading voice in trauma healing, developing innovative approaches that combine neuroscience with the profound power of human connection.
As Chairman of the Kiwis For Good Foundation, Robin provides strategic leadership and clinical insight that help shape the organisation’s approach to mental health and trauma recovery. His work continues to influence a growing movement focused on compassionate, science-based healing.
Elena Crucianu brings a unique mix of people skills, creativity, and purpose-driven work to Kiwis For Good. With a background that started in customer-facing roles, she eventually felt called to make a more meaningful impact leading her to become a certified Life and Holistic Coach. Since then, she’s launched her own projects and blended her passion for mental health with hands-on experience in social media, content creation, and community building. She's excited to support a mission that aligns with her values and to make a difference behind the scenes.
Mike Ferriss is Director of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) in New Zealand and has spent decades advocating for accountability and human rights within mental health systems. His work has supported survivors of abuse in state psychiatric institutions and helped bring international attention to the historic abuses at the Lake Alice psychiatric unit, contributing to investigations by the United Nations and New Zealand’s Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in Care.
In 2025, the work of CCHR and Lake Alice survivors was recognised with the Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year – Community of the Year Award, acknowledging their long-standing efforts to secure justice and recognition for survivors. As a trustee of Kiwis For Good, Mike brings extensive experience in advocacy, public accountability, and protecting vulnerable people. His perspective strengthens the Foundation’s commitment to supporting mental wellbeing, championing human dignity, and ensuring that the voices of those who have experienced trauma are heard.

Young people aged 16-25 who want to improve their mental and physical well-being. There are no financial barriers to participation.
